The new book of the “Heritage: Overview” series, founded by the “Fatherland” Association of Belarusians of the World and the Belarusian Institute of Science and Art, is dedicated to the life and creative work of Father Lev Horoshka (1911–1977). A Greek Catholic priest, he extensively studied the history of Christianity in Belarus, especially the past and present state of the Union Church, analyzed the events in the environment of the Belarusian emigration after the Second World War. Today, when the persecution of the Catholic and Uniate churches in Belarus has resumed, and a significant part of Belarusians are again forced to live abroad, written by Father Lev in the 1940s and 1950s. becomes especially relevant.
