Book of the cemetery. Belarusian funerals in the world

Materials for the album-guidebook “Book of cemeteries. “Belarusian Burials in the World” – the 49th book in the “Library of the Fatherland” series – was collected at the Belarusian Institute of Science and Art in New York from the beginning of the 1990s with the help of dozens of interested persons. The publication covers Belarusian burials in 13 countries of the world, including detailed descriptions of special Belarusian cemeteries or Belarusian parts of multinational cemeteries in Australia, Great Britain, the USA, as well as individual gravestones of Belarusians and natives of Belarus in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Canada, France, Czech Republic, Chile, Sweden. The authors tried to present not only the tombstones themselves, but also the persons who rested under them, in order to preserve the memory of hundreds of relatives who remained abroad forever. “The Book of Cemetery” is the first Belarusian publication of its kind and volume.
