The historical prose of Uladzimir Orlov is compared with graphic works. But this does not mean that in his stories and short stories there is an intense action warmed by warm humor and unbridled eroticism, along with a deep knowledge of history. Among the heroes of the book are the rebels of 1863 and the murderer of Tsar Alexander II, the Belarusian nobleman Ignat Hrynyavitskyi, Napoleon Bonaparte and the heterosexual Dominic.
